Our film is up for 2 @dgctalent awards: best documentary for DCG member @anjalinayar and best editing for Rod Deogrades. After premiering at @tiff_net last year, it has gone on to hundreds of audiences around the world. It's been a pleasure to be a part of the film that works to democratize narratives coming from the Global South, that shows the voices we need more of in this world. Though this stuff is happening on the other side of the world from Canada, the narratives of power and the need to stand up for what is just run strong.
